Books and Beans | Contemporary at Blue Star Book Club
July 5–September 6, 2025
Explore literature connected to artists and exhibitions in ‘Books and Beans,’ a Contemporary at Blue Star book club. Books and Beans will be held in conversation with our current exhibition In the Shadows, Our Ghosts Lurk (En Las Sombras, Nuestros Fantasmas Acechan). Our discussions will explore exhibition related themes of panopticism (a concept that involves social control and self-discipline), surveillance capitalism, and the spectral connections between the past and future of art.
Books and Beans’ Book Club meetings will be held the first Saturday of the month from July through September.
