Admission

Our exhibitions are always admission free!

The Contemporary is a member of Museums for All and the Mod/Co and ROAM reciprocal membership programs.

Parking

Parking is available inside the Blue Star Arts Complex for free, except on First Fridays. Parking in the lot is valet only on First Friday beginning at 2pm for a $15 fee

School and Group Tours

Schools, community groups, and organizations are invited to take advantage of our free tour program. Guided discussions provide students with an understanding of contemporary art and encourage critical thinking concerning everyday life. Contact our Education and Programs Manager at juan@contemporarysa.org to learn more. 

Venue Rentals

Contemporary at Blue Star is a dynamic setting for ideation sessions, retreats, and special occasions. Corporate Members receive annual benefits, including access to the Contemporary’s galleries for private events. For information about hosting your next business meeting or event at the Contemporary, please email Development Director Elaine Leahy at elaine@contemporarysa.org.

Accessibility and Special Services

Contemporary at Blue Star is committed to serving all visitors. The Contemporary is accessible to people using wheelchairs. All galleries and facilities are wheelchair accessible. Service animals are welcome. Sign language available upon advance request. Large-print gallery notes are available upon request.
