Join the Contemporary for a new installment of Stitch and ’Wich, a community-building fiber arts and craft program series that highlights craft techniques in a beginner-friendly workshop environment. These community building workshops bring people together over art, and tea sandwiches. For May’s installment, artist Alán Serna will teach participants the basics of Japanese Stab binding, a book binding method that is both decorative and durable. Participants will leave with a handmade book.
