Contemporary Art for San Antonio dba Contemporary at Blue Star (“Contemporary”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its visitors, online guests, members, and donors. This Privacy Policy discloses how we collect and use information collected both online and offline, to inform you about the Company’s programs, events, fundraisers, and other nonprofit initiatives.

By visiting our website, purchasing tickets online or otherwise providing personal information, you are accepting the practices described in our Privacy Policy. Contemporary at Blue Star collects personal information from you when you engage in online or in person transactions such as purchases, registrations, donating or becoming a member. The Contemporary does not sell or rent any of the personal data we collect or maintain. Contemporary at Blue Star does not maintain or use any payment information beyond the immediate need to process a transaction.

Information we collect through contemporarysa.org

When you visit our website, we may collect and store information about the general location of where you accessed our site from, the operating system and/or device you used, the date and time you accessed our site and the internet address of the website from which you linked to our site. We may use this information to measure the number of website visitors and make our online presence more engaging and useful.

Security

Contemporary at Blue Star secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure utilizing Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through encryption, such as the SSL protocol. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide appropriate security for the information we collect and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Children under 13

The Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The use of the Sites is conditioned, in part, on a certification that the user is at least 13 years of age. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at hello@contemporarysa.org. We will delete such data from our files upon request.

Opt-out and requesting changes to your information

We only send permission-based email for marketing purposes. In addition, users always have the opportunity to opt-out or change preferences via a link in the footer of all non-transactional email messages. These options are made available when you sign-up for our email lists and in email messages delivered from our company. If you receive SMS Messages, you can opt-out by replying STOP to any of our SMS messages. With whom personal information is shared

This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected by Contemporary at Blue Star. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies or other parties that Contemporary at Blue Star does not own or control, or their employees that Contemporary at Blue Star does not manage. The sites and our products may contain links to third party websites. Any information you provide to, or that is collected by, third-party sites may be subject to the privacy policies of those sites, if any. Contemporary at Blue Star reserves the right to change this policy from time to time. For example, when there are changes in our mission, data protection practices, or changes in the law. Your continued use our site and/or services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgement of the modified policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that policy.
