More Findings

Feb 7–Aug 2, 2020

  • Featuring artist Rand Renfrow
  • February 7, 2020 – August 2, 2020 (extended!)

Rand Renfrow’s exhibition More Findings uses geometric shape and form to establish the artist’s own vernacular representation of the array of human emotion through sculpture, painting, prints, and display. The reader/viewer quickly learns to decipher and activate this new language. The work speaks to our desire to represent and express our emotions and to identify with things outside of ourselves, collecting them, displaying them and taking them on as icons and signifiers.

Rand Renfrow is an illustrator, printmaker, and educator based in San Marcos, Texas. He is an arranger and collector of things. He holds an MFA from Maine College of Art and a BFA in Printmaking from Texas State University. He has exhibited nationally and frequently participates as an exhibitor at art book fairs throughout the US. In addition to lecturing at Texas State University he works works with artists, design firms, private, and corporate clients doing design, printmaking and illustration work, including New York Times and Bloomberg Businessweek, Mokuyobi Threads, and others.
