Loominous brings together artworks created by Blue Star Contemporary’s Student Artists. Working alongside Visiting Artist Theresa Newsome students explored the varied approaches to portrait photography, highlighting personal experience as the subjects of their work. Artist Doerte Weber guided students on the intricacies of weaving on hand-built looms, considering the relationship between textiles and art. Focusing on the materials used to convey meaning, Loominous highlights the unique vision of each student artist.
