Contact: Christians and Moors, Image, and Ritual in Mexico was curated by Roberto Tejada and exhibited artworks from George O. Jackson. This exhibition and survey comprised 92 photographs that covered the artist’s 25-year involvement with Mexico’s indigenous traditions. Jackson’s commitment to those vast and diverse traditions has focused on the countless religious and festive celebrations and rituals which, although surviving, are rapidly disappearing.
