Seva-Art Open Call for Middle and High School Artists
Submission deadline: September 30, 2023 at 5pm.
In partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank and the Contemporary at Blue Star, Seva-Art is inviting young Bexar County artists in grades 6th–12th to submit work that tells a story. This call is a juried exhibition open to all mediums created within the past year and selected works will be judged for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mention awards. Selected works will have the opportunity to be sold and proceeds will be shared with the artist and the San Antonio Food Bank in support of Seva-Art’s ‘Community Builds Community’ mission.
Selected artworks will be presented in a one-night exhibition in the Contemporary’s MOSAIC Gallery on First Friday, November 3, 2023.

About Seva-Art: Community builds community. Seva-Art is a nonprofit that was started by a 14-year-old girl, Rabani Bajaj, who has a passion for arts and the San Antonio community. Seva-Art’s mission is to cultivate San Antonio students’ talent for art through this youth showcase while supporting the greater community. This is the first of what will be an annual event going forward.
