Join us for Film Friday at Contemporary at Blue Star as we screen WALL-E. The film depicts an alternate future in the year 2805, a future where the Earth is overtaken by trash and humans are living on a mothership called the AXIOM. What happens to our planet and mankind when the reliance on an automated lifestyle goes to the extreme? Can Earth be restored with the help of WALL-E and EVE?
This film is presented in dialogue with Contemporary at Blue Star’s current exhibition Augmented Reality, which features parallel themes and environments. Come early and tour the exhibitions and see what connections you can make.
