Please join us for a panel discussion featuring Sylvie Blocher, Rolando Briseño, Dr. Ellen Riojas Clark, & Dr. Tomás Ybarra-Frausto!
Panelists will discuss their involvement in the production of Sylvie Blocher’s videos Alamo, Skintone, and Color with a focus on the role of political activism and community engagement in making art. They will also respond to issues raised in the videos, which include racism, gun violence, and representations of the history of the Alamo. While you’re here immerse yourself in Blocher’s exhibition Color of Confusion as well as our other fall exhibitions.
