Closed to the public until further notice

In an abundance of caution, and in the best interest of our guests and staff members, Contemporary at Blue Star will be closed beginning March 14, 2020, until further notice.

While there have been no presumptive or confirmed cases of coronavirus on our premises, we’ve made this decision out of caution and out of our commitment to protect visitors, staff, volunteers, and the community at large, whose safety and well-being are our top priorities.

By suspending operations, we hope not only to protect our own community, but to do our part in mitigating the spread of COVID-19 within the larger San Antonio community.

We are continuously monitoring the situation and following the advice of local, state, and federal authorities.

We remain committed to our mission to inspire, nurture, and innovate through contemporary art, and will endeavor to keep you updated regarding the status of our upcoming events and programs.
