Join us for a private, guided viewing of Ryan Takaba’s 49 to a new installation. Takaba’s work features impermanent materials, including wax, incense, and flowers. The installation is temporal while containing more permanent ceramic objects and is activated through an extended, durational performances. Documentation of the performative part of this work is on view as part of the Red Dot 2022 show. The work settles as both performance residue and sculptural objects.
