Eternal Rhythms

Jan 19–Mar 13, 2006

Eternal Rhythms exhibited artworks from Caprice Pierucci Taniguchi. Caprice used linear repetition in her work, originating from a background in textiles and tapestry weaving. Her sculptures evoked ideas of skeletons, shells and landscapes. The intersections and the erosion of intersections created a movement within each work that tends to draw the viewer’s eye into the piece. Caprice’s work referenced eternity and time; inspired by erosion of caltrite in cave formations.
