Confessions of a Singin’ Vaquero was curated by Arturo Almeida and exhibited artworks from Ricky A. Armendariz. This exhibition featured fourteen landscape paintings on large birch plywood panels. Each piece contained intricate drawings and text carved into the surface that dispensed advice in the form of Tejano / Mexicano dichos or truisms as well as conjunto and country inspired song lyrics.
