Texas Photographers was an exhibition celebrating Fotoseptiembre USA. At the time, Fotoseptiembre USA was the second largest photography festival in the U.S., having increased dramatically in size and scope from the previous years. The Contemporary had some of the best photographers of South Texas including Ron Binks, Jim Broderick, Michael Cristoff, Duncan Ganley, Matt Hawthrone, Rick Hunter, Neil Maurer, Michael Mehl, George O. Jackson, Al Rendon, Trish Simonite, Melissa Sutherland, Kathy Vargas, Geoff Winningham, and Rob Ziebell.
