Looking at the 90’s: Four Views of Current Mexican Photography was curated by Ana Casas, Miguel Fematt, José Antonio Rodriguez, and Osvaldo Sánchez and showcased artists Katya Brailowsky, Marco Antonio Cruz, Marianna Dellekamp, Laura Barrón Echauri, Pía Elizondo, Ximena Berecochea Fernández, Maya Goded, Maruch Sántiz Gómez, Edgar Ladrón de Guevara, Carlos Juardo, Gerardo Montiel Klint, Javier Ramirez Limón, Daniel Mendoza, Adriana Calatayud Morán, Hildegart Moreno Oloarte, Sebastián Rodríguez Romo, Pedro Slim, and Daniel Weinstock. This show was full of cultural diversity as well as a forum for a community-based dialogue on the role of photography in contemporary art. Stellweg wrote of the show, “Along with a broad-based selection of work by the most talented photographers in Mexico today, Looking at the 90’s: Four Views of Current Mexican Photography provides the audience with a diverse update on the current state of curatorial and critical work surrounding the medium of photography.”
