Dead Days 1986 was curated by University of Texas at San Antonio student Maureen Muerta O’Malley. The exhibition featured over 200 works on the theme of death by artists James Cobb, Sue Coe, Susan Mackin-Dolan, Alex, Grey, Benito Huerta, Gary Krupala, Sharon Kopriva, Richard Thompson, William Maxwell, Melissa Miller, Robert Morris Jason Sappon, Earl Staley, Lee Smith Ill, Bill Winman, and Rob Ziebell.
