- May 6, 2017
- 11 AM – 4 PM
Come to Contemporary at Blue Star and learn about contemporary art through hands-on activities. Each scheduled workshop focuses on an exhibition currently on view, inspiring your own work of art and connecting you with visual language and art history.
Workshops are free and open to the public. RSVP required as space is limited. Contemporary at Blue Star’s Family Saturday events are Sponsored by H-E-B Tournament of Champions.
This Family Saturday will also feature a Creative Classrooms open house. Creative Classrooms is a Contemporary at Blue Star program that sends a San Antonio artist into classrooms to teach art based on her studio practice. This year’s Artist-in-Community, Emily Fleisher worked with the 2nd-grade classrooms of Bowden Elementary. Come see some of their projects on view, meet the artist, and participate in one of our workshops.
