Hang Art Like a Pro: Preparator Basics | MOSAIC Drop-In Workshop for Teens
Wednesday, July 8, 2026
9–11am
Have you ever wondered how artwork gets installed on gallery walls? Join The Contemporary and Lani Tagle for a hands-on workshop introducing the basics of professional art installation. Learn about essential tools, measuring techniques, and different methods or art handling. Lani will share behind-the-scenes insight into how exhibitions are installed in galleries and museums. Teens are encouraged to bring questions about hanging their own artwork at home or about art careers. Students may bring their own piece of 2D artwork to practice hanging.
This program is open to teens only, free with registration.
Breakfast refreshments will be provided.
