MOSAIC Exhibition | Fae Wilds by Terri Smith

Thursday, April 2, 2026
5–7pm

Fae Wilds is a MOSAIC Student Program exhibition showcasing the work of student artist Teri Smith. This exhibition is the culmination of two MOSAIC workshops led by artists Faith Fisher and Audrya Flores.

The projects in this exhibition reflect Teri’s interest in the natural world and fantasy. The mythical world of the Fae Wilds serves as inspiration for the pieces, which offer glimpses of this imagined land and function as windows into its history and Teri’s own imagination.

The Contemporary’s MOSAIC Student Artist Program is an after‑school, studio‑intensive art program for high school youth in San Antonio, Texas. Alongside rigorous studio instruction and participation in the Contemporary’s exhibitions and public programs, students learn the fundamentals of visual art techniques and the use of professional materials, engage in high‑caliber exhibition opportunities, expand their networks with arts patrons, experience arts administration firsthand, and collaborate on public art projects.
