Hemisfair is turning 50 and Contemporary at Blue Star is excited to take part in the celebration! Join Contemporary at Blue Star, Hemisfair, and many other of our beloved community organizations for a weekend festival of heritage and culture!

San Antonio Artist Anne Wallace, a Contemporary at Blue StarBerlin Residency Alum, and 2018 Red Dot Honorary Artist will be unveiling her installation Uprooted showcasing the district before HemisFair 1968.

In addition, the Contemporary at Blue Star MOSAIC Student Artist Program will be leading a Mosaic Foam Art Project on Saturday from 12-9 PM (or while supplies last!) and a Paint-by-Number Community Mural Project on Sunday from 12-5 PM.
