Back From Berlin: Andrea Willems and Anthony Rundblade

Join the Contemporary as we welcome two of our 2025/2026 artists in residence back from Berlin. Enjoy some light snacks as artists Anthony Rundblade and Andrea Willems reflect on their experiences in Berlin and detail their art practice while creating abroad.

Since establishing the Berlin Residency Program in 2013, Contemporary annually selects four artists residing in Bexar County to take part in three-month residencies in Berlin, Germany in partnership with Künstlerhaus Bethanien.
