Cheyenne Amaya is a San Antonio artist who earned her BFA at UTSA and works in ceramic sculpture and painting. Cheyenne began her work in art handling as an intern in 2023 at The Contemporary at Blue Star, and since then has become a core part of the installation crew here at the Contemporary and has assisted in installation at multiple galleries across San Antonio. During this time, she has learned the ins and outs of art preparation and handling and has been able to incorporate that knowledge into her daily practice as a working artist.
