Blue Star on Houston Street was a satellite exhibition curated by Jesse Amado and Franco Mondini-Ruiz with artworks from artists Rolando Briseño, Riley Robinson, David Zamora Casas, Diana Rodriguez-Gil, George Cisneros, Kent Rush, Alex de Leon, F.L. “Doc” Spellmon, Alejandro Diaz, Catharine Tarver, Katja Kohler, Bub Vickers, Lisa Mellinger, Anne Wallace, and Holly Moe. These 14 visual artists pushed the proverbial envelope and created window installations in the empty storefronts along Houston Street, from Broadway to the San Antonio River.
