Continue to explore the theme of ephemeral contemporary art present in John Steck’s Turning Memory exhibition by joining Contemporary at Blue Star for a screening of Rivers and Tides.
A portrait of famed artist Andy Goldsworthy, Rivers and Tides investigates the relationship between art and nature through Goldsworthy’s unique creative process. The artist travels all over the world forming long-winding rock walls, icicle sculptures, interlocking leaf chains, and multicolored pools of flowers, in a painstakingly intricate manner using materials found in nature.
